At the intersection of Pears Ave and Avenue Rd, Pears on the Avenue is perfectly positioned in the heart of upscale, leafy-green Yorkville. Once home to the hippies, Yorkville is now known as one of Toronto’s poshest neighbourhoods, home to famous European brands, Haute Couture and the flagship store of Canada’s own Holt Renfrew. Along with shopping, culture is never far away in Yorkville, with the Royal Ontario Museum, Bata Shoe Museum, Gardiner Museum and Royal Conservatory of Music all in the neighbourhood.

Yorkville is also known for its trendy cafés, such as the Super Jet International Coffee shop, and delightful restaurants such as Sotto-Sotto, Cantine and Mistura/Sopra. If Yorkville is the heart of the city, residents of Pears on the Avenue also benefit from being close to its lungs, with both Ramsden Park and Queen’s Park just steps away.

In addition to being accessible by car, Pears on the Avenue is served by the Avenue Road bus and lies within walking distance of the Rosedale and Dupont Subway stations on the opposite arms of the Yonge-University-Spadina lines, as well as Bay Station on the Bloor line.
